Lacking Inspiration?

I have neglected my photography as of late and I do not know if it is because I lost a bit of inspiration and just put the camera away for awhile or if it is because I live, think and breathe art all day long at work?

I do know that the winter here in my area has been the bleakest, most sunless winter that I have experienced and could be the reason that I put the camera away for awhile.

I am in the process of re-decorating the downstairs and turning the area that was my oldest child's room into an art/photography studio for my muse and I to work our magic!

In the meantime...here is one of my favorite things to do.....playing with photobooth on the iMac!

When I have the studio up and running, I will post an image!

Have a great evening!

I think sometimes we (artists) think we're not creating when we lack a tangible product. Truth is, it's just a whole other way of living which manifests itself in other ways, like redecorating or playing with photobooth. You'll dig your cameras out soon, I'm certain. Have a great weekend.

I came to say bye, bye for a while - I'm busy packing and then going to have relocation break!
See you again in April!
Take care!

Glad to see you're back and I am excited to hear that you are going to are make a studio in your house. How neat!!!!!!

I had the same problem last month with a total lack of desire to photograph anything. And like you -- I was chalking it up to the gray, gloomy days that went on forever!!!!

Luckily -- the sun it back out and things are turning green!!!

Looking forward to seeing more posts from you!!!
