Printmaking

Experimenting with acrylic paint and dish-soap today for a printmaking class that I taught, I believe that I blew my lungs out making bubbles of paint to spill onto the Stonehenge paper.

The image below is the result of what I played around with, and this piece reminds me of a "Walk in the Park".

This abstract print has a lot of energy and movement. It reminds me of the chaotic motion of spring. It is as if all the colors of spring exploded and mixed with the dark, rich soil of the earth onto the paper. I love the excitement of spring and the feeling that the warm days bring with it, a fresh new hope.
