Happy New Year 2010!

Here I am with my Dad sitting around the table after we stuffed ourselves (along with my mom, Cousin Larry and his wife Judi) to the gourd with black eyed peas, ribs, salad, cabbage and mashed potatoes! My stomach will be so happy to be back on track starting tomorrow!

It was quite a feast and an awesome way to start the new year (I found out as I was leaving that I had invited myself to this feast in which it was not planned for my being there since it was only supposed to be the "adults")!

A few weeks ago, my little one and I were playing with these unique colored tubes of lights that I had found about 8 years ago for Christmas. I had been researching some on light painting for work and when I pulled these lights out of the Christmas ornament box, I quickly set up the camera so that her and I could snap some images of us playing with the lights!

I am putting the original up along with one that I tweaked some on photoshop to give it a unique twist!

The above images were one of my favorites out of all the ones that we did, especially since my little one was the one doing the twirling! She brought out the angelic side of herself in the image!

I wish everyone a prosperous New Year and a year of good health, lasting memories and much time spent with the ones who mean the most to you!

Found your blog through Nikon Sniper. Your light photography looks like a lot of fun. You did a great job with the original and I like what you did with the Photoshop. Nice work.
